# Invoice layouts, logo and main color

Choose how your invoice and estimate PDFs look, add your logo, and set your brand colour.

### Choose a layout

1. **Web:** **Settings** → **Invoice**, then click the **Layout library** picture. **App:** **Menu** → **All modules** → **Invoice branding**.
2. Browse the layouts. Use the **All**, **Premium** and **Free** tabs on the web. Click the eye icon to preview one with sample data.
3. Click a layout to use it (app: **Use this template**). You'll see "PDF template successfully changed."

There are 28 layouts. **Reset** takes you back to **Default Light**. If your plan ends, premium layouts go back to Default Light.

### Add your logo

1. **Web:** **Settings** → **Invoice** → **Logo**. **App:** **Invoice branding**.
2. Under **Default logo** (for white backgrounds), click **Upload a file** or drag your image in. App: tap **Tap to upload**.
3. Optional: add a **Light logo** for dark layouts. Without one, your default logo is used.

The logo saves straight away. Use JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC, up to 10 MB. Large logos are shrunk to fit 660 × 330 pixels, so that size works best.

### Set your main colour

1. **Settings** → **Invoice** → **Global options** → **Main color** (app: **Invoice branding**).
2. Pick a colour or type a hex code, then click **Save**.

Main color changes your online invoice page. On PDFs, only **Default Light**, **Default Dark** and **Minimal Dark** use it.

### FAQ

**My logo won't upload.**

- "This is not allowed type.": save it as JPG or PNG.
- "File is bigger than 10MB…": use a smaller file.
- "The logo is too large to process…": resize it, for example to 660 × 330 pixels.

**I changed the colour, but my PDF didn't change.** Your layout doesn't use Main color. Pick one of the three above.

**Can I move my business name above my customer's?** Not at the moment. Every layout shows your customer (**Bill to**) on the left and your business (**Bill from**) on the right.

**Can I design my own layout?** You can choose from InvoiceQuick's available invoice designs. Uploading your own invoice design isn't supported. Pick one from the Layout library, then add your logo and colour.
