# Search, filter and sort your invoices and customers

Find any invoice or customer in a few taps.

### Invoices

**Website** (**Invoices**):

- Type in **Search invoices** to match the job description, customer name or invoice number.
- Open the filters for **Status**, **Customer**, **Issued Date**, **Due Date**, **Total**, **Balance Due**, currency, language and more.
- Click a column heading to sort, for example by **Due** or **Balance due**.

**App** (**Invoices** tab):

- Tap a pill: **All**, **Draft**, **Open** (still owed, not overdue) or **Overdue**.
- Tap the search icon to search.
- Tap the filter icon for **Status**, **Customer**, **Date** (issued or due), **Amount** and **More filters**. Tap **Show invoices** to apply, or **Reset** to clear.

In the app, the newest invoice is always at the top. Overdue invoices show their amount in red.

### Customers

**Website** (**Customers**):

- **Search customers** matches the name, city, state, and every contact's name, email and phone.
- Filter by **Currency**, **Country**, **Open balance**, **Past due**, **Language** or **Archived**.
- Sort by **Name**, **City**, **State** or **Last invoiced**.

**App** (**Customers** tab):

- Tap **All**, **Outstanding** or **Past due**.
- Tap the sort icon for **Highest open balance**, **Most past due** or **Name A–Z**, and to see **Archived** customers.

### Good to know

- The website remembers how many rows you show per page.
- In the app, **Select all** picks only the rows already loaded. Scroll down first to include more.
- Offline, the app shows the last saved list.

### FAQ

**Where are paid invoices in the app?** Tap the filter icon → **Status** → **Paid**.

**How do I find archived customers?** Website: filter **Archived** → **Only archived**. App: sort icon → **Archived**.
