How to save invoices into a new template?

Saving invoices as templates in InvoiceQuick allows you to streamline your invoicing process and reuse the layout for future use. Follow this step-by-step guide to save invoices into new templates:

 

Go to the Invoices Tab:

  • Click on the "Invoices" tab located in the navigation menu.

Select an Existing Invoice or Create a New Invoice:

  • If you already have an existing invoice that you want to use as a template, find it in the list of invoices.
  • Click on the three dots of the invoice you wish to save as a template.
  • If you don't have an existing invoice to use, you can create a new one by following this guide: How to Create an Invoice.

Access the "Save as Template" Option:

  • Click on the three dots (ellipsis) to reveal a dropdown menu.
  • From the dropdown menu, select "Save as Template."

Save the Invoice as a Template:

  • A confirmation message will appear, asking you to confirm saving the invoice as a template.

  • Name the template accordingly.
  • You can click the button to make it a default template when making new invoices
  • Click "Save" to proceed and save the invoice as a template.

Locate Your Templates:

  • After successfully saving the invoice as a template, it will now be available in the "Saved invoices" tab.
  • To access your saved templates, click on the "Saved invoices" tab.

Your templates are now ready to be used for future invoices, saving you time and effort in creating invoices from scratch.
