Invoice and estimate titles

Call your documents what suits your business, such as "Tax invoice", "Bill" or "Quote".

Change the titles

1. Web: Settings → Invoice → Invoice, Estimate, Recurring invoice options. App: Menu → All modules → Setup → Invoice branding.
2. Change Invoice title (default "Invoice") and Estimate title (default "Estimate").
3. Click Save (app: Save settings).

Where the title shows

• At the top of the PDF and the online invoice or estimate page.
• In your activity log and notifications, for example "Quote sent."

If you change the title, the online page and any PDF downloaded from then on show the new one, including for invoices you already sent. PDFs already downloaded and earlier activity entries keep the old title.

Titles in another language

If you invoice customers in other languages, you can set translated titles per language under Settings → Language. A document set to that language uses its translated title. Otherwise the title from Settings → Invoice is used, then "Invoice".

FAQ

I changed "Estimate" to "Quote", but some screens still say "estimate". The title changes your documents, emails and activity. InvoiceQuick's own menus and buttons keep their names.

Do I need a particular plan to change the title? No. Every plan can change the invoice and estimate titles. Translated titles per language need a paid plan.

Can recurring invoices have a different title? No. They use your invoice title.
