Let customers pay online (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer)

Connect the ways you want to be paid, then choose which ones appear on each invoice. Your customer pays from the invoice link. InvoiceQuick charges no fee of its own.

Step 1: Connect your payment options

  1. Web: Sidebar → Settings → Payments. App: Menu → All modules → Setup → Payment methods.
  2. Add one or more:
    • Card payments (Stripe): click Connect Stripe, sign in to Stripe (or create an account) and allow access. You'll see "You successfully connected your Stripe account with InvoiceQuick."
    • PayPal: click Connect PayPal, enter an Account name and your PayPal email, and save.
    • Bank transfer: click Add bank account. Enter an Account name (shown on the button) and Account info (your bank details or other instructions), and save.

Step 2: Choose options on each invoice

  1. In the invoice editor, find Accepted payments. (App: More options → Accepted payments.)
  2. Tick the options you want to offer.
  3. Save. Only ticked options appear for your customer.

New invoices start with no options ticked. A duplicated invoice keeps the original's choices.

How each option works

Option What your customer does Marked paid?
Card (Stripe) Pays the full amount due by card. Yes, automatically. A receipt is emailed.
PayPal Pays you on PayPal. No. You confirm it. See PayPal payments.
Bank transfer Sees your bank details. No. Record it when the money arrives.

Good to know

  • Connecting Stripe isn't part of the free trial. During the trial, subscribe first, then connect Stripe.
  • Card payments go straight to your Stripe account. Stripe's and PayPal's standard fees apply.
  • Card payments need more than 1.00 due. For smaller amounts, use another method.
  • With a paid plan you can also add your own External link (for example, a Square or Wise link) in Accepted payments. Record those payments yourself.
  • Customers pay on the invoice web page, never inside the app.

FAQ

My customer paid by card but the invoice still looks unpaid. Ask them to reload the invoice page. Then check Transactions → Payments for a Stripe payment. If it isn't there, look in your Stripe account. If the payment is there, record it yourself with Add payment.

Do I need a Stripe account? Only for card payments. You can create one during setup.

Is my bank information safe? Bank details are only shown to people who have the invoice link.
