Switching between monthly and annual (and how to cancel without switching)
You can move between monthly and annual billing at any time. Changing your plan is not the same as cancelling. Please read this before you click.
Switch between monthly and annual
- Click your name or avatar (top right) → Billing.
- Click Change plan.
- You'll see "Switch your account plan to yearly?" (or "…to monthly?"). Confirm only if you want to change how often you pay.
- You'll see "You successfully changed subscription."
The change happens right away, in both directions.
Monthly → annual
- You're charged for the year today.
- We subtract the unused days of your current month, so the charge is a little under $170.
- Your new yearly period starts on the day you switch.
- If you have the CRM add-on, its yearly price is added to the same charge.
Annual → monthly
- You move to $19/month today.
- The unused part of your yearly payment becomes credit on your account. It is not paid back to your card.
- Your monthly invoices are paid from that credit until it runs out. Then your card is charged.
- You can see the balance as Credit on the Billing page.
On an older price? Changing your plan ends it for good and moves you to today's price ($19 or $170). See Legacy plans and older prices.
Want to stop paying? Cancel. Don't switch.
To stop future charges, use Cancel subscription, not Change plan.
- Click your name or avatar (top right) → Billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- If you have the CRM add-on, choose Cancel the CRM add-on or Cancel entire subscription.
- On Before you go, pick a Reason for cancelling, then click Cancel entire subscription.
You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. You won't be charged again.
I was charged the annual fee when I meant to cancel
Here's how to fix it:
- Switch back to monthly: Billing → Change plan. The unused part of your yearly payment becomes credit on your account.
- Email support@invoicequick.com from your account email. Include the receipt number and ask us to refund the leftover credit to your card.
- Want to stop completely? Click Cancel subscription as well.
Please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank. A dispute can slow things down.
FAQ
I switched back to monthly, but I see a credit, not a refund. That's expected. Switching from annual to monthly turns the unused part into credit that pays your next monthly invoices. If you'd rather have the leftover credit back on your card, email us and we'll refund it.
Is there an undo? Pressing Change plan again switches you back to monthly, and the unused part becomes credit. To get that credit back on your card, email us after you switch.
My price went from an older price to $19 after I changed plans. Can I get my old price back? No. Older prices can't be restored once you've changed plans.
